Increased Flexibility for Signer Authentication: SMS or Phone Call
To support a broader range of signer situations, we’ve added a new option for premium customers using eSign-only flows: signers can now choose to receive their one-time passcode via text message or phone call. This is especially valuable when sending documents to US-based recipients who are currently abroad and may not have reliable access to SMS.
When SMS authentication is enabled on a transaction, signers will see a new screen prompting them to choose their preferred delivery method. If they don’t receive the code on the first attempt, they’ll also be able to reselect the method to try again. This update removes a common blocker for international signing and makes the authentication process more resilient and signer-friendly.
More Signature Flexibility for Your Signers
We’ve introduced a new setting in Signer Settings that allows signers to upload their own signature image. When this option is enabled, signers will see the ability to upload a custom image during the signing process - offering a more personalized and familiar signing experience.

This gives signers greater control over how their signature appears on documents, and can help meet specific legal, branding, or personal preference requirements. It's a simple way to add flexibility to your signing workflows with minimal setup.
Custom Landing Page Messaging by Transaction Type
We’re giving customers more control over what recipients see and experience the first time they’re sent a Proof transaction.
With this new feature, you can customize the text shown on the recipient landing page for any transaction type - whether it’s RON, eSign, or another workflow. This allows you to set clear expectations, personalize messaging, and deliver a more branded experience for recipients.

For organizations using Command Center, the recipient landing page can be managed through brand profiles, supporting scale across child orgs. This is an ideal solution for customers expanding their use of Proof into new transaction types and looking to maintain a polished, trustworthy brand presence at every step.

Keep Your Closing Connected with Full Access in Identify
We’re expanding functionality for our real estate customers by adding closing contacts to the Identify transaction form.
This update enables closing team members to be added as transaction contacts in Identify workflows—giving them full access to transaction details and identity reports.
Closing contacts will receive notifications when Identify transactions are sent and completed, helping teams stay informed throughout the closing process. This feature is designed for customers who send Identify transactions prior to closing, to ensure seamless collaboration with their closing teams.
View and Export Enhanced Company Directory Details
Enterprise customers with multiple child organizations can now export their full company directory, including new details like status, directly from the Command Center.
This makes it easier for admins to audit, reference, and compare their entire organizational structure—saving time and simplifying management of complex deployments.
Control Transaction Creation with New Domain Policy
Enterprise admins can now restrict senders from creating independent transactions outside of the company’s workflows. Once enabled, users in your account can no longer access the retail upload flow or create transactions from their Signer dashboard—ensuring all activity stays within your billing, settings, and visibility.

A New Era of Transaction Fraud Detection
We’re proud to unveil our world-class fraud detection engine—now powering Defend with a smarter, more holistic approach to transaction risk scoring. Defend’s risk model takes fraud detection to the next level by incorporating a broad spectrum of intelligence.
This includes behavioral signals, transaction context, live-agent feedback, network anomalies, and even deepfake detection. The result is a more accurate risk score—categorized as high, medium, or low—that helps customers accurately detect fraudulent activity in real time, with fewer false positives.
Defend doesn’t just detect identity fraud—it understands the full picture of every transaction,

Introducing Risk Routing: Take Control Before Documents Are Released
With Defend Risk Routing, customers can now automatically pause medium and high risk transactions—before they are completed or documents are released to signers. This addresses one of the most common pain points we’ve heard: that simply reviewing a transaction for fraud after it’s complete, is too late.

Now, operations teams can quickly review flagged transactions and decide whether to proceed or cancel, helping prevent fraud before it happens. Risk Routing also includes the ability to temporarily mark a signer as safe, so that previously cleared individuals aren't held up again, even across multiple transactions.
Defend Risk Routing streamlines reviews, reduces operational overhead, and delivers a smoother experience for trusted signers—all while maintaining tight fraud controls.
Faster Transaction Creation with Recipient Autocomplete
We’re adding a new recipient search feature that makes it faster and easier to fill out the transaction creation form.
With this update, when you begin typing a recipient’s first name, last name, or email, the platform will automatically search your past recipients and display matching results—helping you quickly select from previously used contacts.

This applies to all recipient types, including signers, CC contacts, and closing contacts. We’ll store up to 1,000 recipient records per customer, including phone numbers when available, and ensure duplicates are avoided by indexing on email. You can also delete any stored contacts from your list at any time.
This update helps automate repetitive steps, reduce errors, and streamline your workflow; which is especially valuable for teams managing high transaction volumes.
