From Signers to Security: The Keys to Choosing the Right RON Platform

Every RON platform can put a signer and a notary on a video call together. The real differences show up before that call starts, in how the platform establishes that the signer is who they claim to be, and they range from a simple database lookup all the way to credential forensics with biometric liveness.
Over 30 minutes we will run a live signing and show where those differences become visible. You will leave knowing:
- The strongest RON identity verification runs credential analysis, biometric liveness, and a face match to the ID inside one session, confirming both that the credential is genuine and that a live person holds it.
- Knowledge-based authentication is the weakest common link in a RON stack, because those answers sit in the same breach data fraudsters already buy.
- On-demand notary availability matters more than the size of a notary roster, since a signer who has to book for next Tuesday may never come back to finish.
- A defensible RON record carries the session recording, the identity evidence, and a tamper-evident audit trail alongside the notarial certificate.
- Proof is certified at NIST IAL2 by the Kantara Initiative and is MISMO certified, so the identity assurance underneath the platform has been audited by an outside body.
