Notarize your Principal® forms in minutes with Proof!
Principal has partnered with Proof to offer a secure way to notarize documents online. Proof offers 24/7 access to commissioned online notaries, allowing you to complete your forms at your convenience – anywhere, anytime.
How it works
1. Upload your documents
Collect all of the pages of your form as a single PDF. You can manually fill out the form prior to upload, or leave it blank and complete it on the Proof platform. However, do not sign the form before uploading. You must sign the document during the notary session.
2. Verify your identity
Proof will ask you a series of questions and prompt photos of a valid, government-issued ID to quickly and securely verify your identity.
3. Connect with a live notary agent
In seconds, Proof will connect you with a commissioned notary over a live video feed. The notary will confirm your identity, witness your signature, and assist you throughout the process.
4. Submit your documents
After the notary meeting, Proof will prompt for credit card payment before you can access your completed forms. You will then need to upload the document to your portal on principal.com.
